Haori

A haori is the garish looking coat that Rinne wears. It's an overcoat that is traditionally worn over a kimono. Apparently they were originally only worn by men until the end of the Meiji period when it became acceptable for both men and women to wear them.

Relevance to Kyokai no Rinne

The Haori of the Underworld, of course.
