Ochimusha

An ochimusha is a soldier or warrior who has been defeated and has fled from battle. This can be seen by the arrows sticking out of the samurai's back -- if he hadn't run, he wouldn't have been shot in the back. For a samurai warrior, running away from a fight was a great dishonor, so for this ghost to be an ochimusha suggests something about his character.

Relevance to Kyokai no Rinne

Early in the series Ochimusha becomes obessesed with Kaori from Sakura's high school.
