Kyoko isn't just a relatively inexperienced driver; she's almost totally inexperienced! In Japan, people who hold drivers' licenses on paper alone (routinely, affluent female homemakers) are known as "paper drivers," meaning they've spent more time going 'round and 'round with their driving instructor in little parking-lot obstacle courses than actual time on the road. Thus, Godai and Mitaka aren't just reluctant to have Kyoko driver them home, but literally in fear for their lives!
