Additional Notes

Track 1
Hidamari Sunny Spot 4:02
Performed by Murashita Kouzou, Hidamari is the fourth opening theme to Maison Ikkoku. Strangely, it is very difficult to find, which is a shame because its such a great song. It is very upbeat, and keeps a fast rhythm. Its almost entirely synth based, and is wonderful to dance to! It can be found on the Complete Vocal Collection, and CD Single Memorial File.

Track 2
Saka no Tochou no Uchiban Sei The First Star on the Way to the Hill 3:40
A slow song that mixes violins, synthesizers and pianos for one of the most well known Maison Ikkoku songs. It can often be heard when Godai is walking around Tokyo, trying to get his head together about his most current dilema. I love the title. It can be found on Music Blend 2.

Track 3

A nice up-tempo song that reminds me a bit of Running. It can be found on Music Blend 2.

A synthesizer tune mixed with the barking of a dog. It can be found on Music Blend 2.

The same as crybaby, only the harmonica has been replaced by an acoustic guitar.

Track 10

A violin overdubbed against a drum machine carries most of this song. It can be found on Music Blend 2.

Track 14
Ai - Yoyake Mae Love, Before the Dawn 3:40
A very delicate song. Its familiar to most MI fans. It can be found on Music Blend 2.

A very familiar song. It can sometimes be heard as the tenants wake up in the morning to begin their day. Very easy to listen to. A midi version is available. It can be found on Music Sour and Kyoko Otonashi Best Selection.

Track 26
Shizukani Tashikani Haru ga Kita Silently but Surely, Spring has Come 1:30
I don't recall ever hearing this song in the series, but its very nice and reminicient of spring in every sense. It would best be described as light jazz. The song also has a nice fadeout to it at the end. It can be found on Music Sour.
