Nearly all construction work that is done in Japan has some version of this little construction worked emblazoned on a sign apologizing for any inconvience to passers-by.

The civil engineer, or Doboku Shugyosha as he is known in Japan, teaches Ryoga the Shishi Hokodan technique is based on this commonly seen graphic. Takahashi says the technique is used primarily in construction work, hence he is an appropriate instructor.
