
Akuma
A Japanese evil spirit, devil, or demon in some contexts. It can be used to describe devils from Western culture such ask vampires, werewolves, and other creatures that go bump in the night.
Relevance
to Urusei Yatsura
When dealing with Sakura, Tsubame and Cherry the gang eventually encounter some sort of demons nine times out of ten. With Tsubame it's primarily Western demons since he studied abroad. Umberlla demons, rain creatures, imps that make you fall asleep and giant spiritual snakes are all good examples.
