 Sneezing
In Japanese culture when you sneeze, it supposedly means someone is gossiping about you behind your back. If you sneeze once, you're being spoken of well. If you sneeze twice, people are saying bad things about you. The third time, someone loves you, and, finally, the fourth time, you have a cold. Relevance to Urusei Yatsura It's almost a universal occurance in manga and anime series that if someone sneezes they automatically assume someone is talking about them, and Urusei Yatsura is no different. |
