The Complete Rumic Anime Grand Poll - Series

NHK conducted a program, The Complete Rumic Anime Grand Poll (全るーみっくアニメ大投票/Zen Rumikku Anime Daitohyo) with a survey allowing viewers to choose their favorites from a database of 52 anime works based on Rumiko Takahashi's works, approximately 1,100 characters, approximately 700 TV series episodes, and approximately 130 songs. Below are the results of the most popular series, films and original animated videos (OVAs). The voting took place between September 17 and November 4, 2019 with a total of 210,061 individual ballots cast.

- [1] Of those that voted for Kyokai no RINNE the gender ratio was 15.7% men versus 84.3% women. The age grouping was: under 9 (55%), 10 to 19 (25.2%), 20 to 29 (9.8%), 30 to 39 (7%), 40 to 49 (2.7%) and 50 and above (0.4%).

- [4] Of those that voted for Maison Ikkoku the gender ratio was 73% men versus 27% women. The age grouping was: under 9 (4.5%), 10 to 19 (16.1%), 20 to 29 (15.9%), 30 to 39 (44.3%), 40 to 49 (17.3%) and 50 and above (1.8%).
- [5] Of those that voted for Ranma 1/2 and Ranma 1/2 Nettohen the gender ratio was 19.6% men versus 80.4% women. The age grouping was: under 9 (12.5%), 10 to 19 (32.9%), 20 to 29 (37.6%), 30 to 39 (16%), 40 to 49 (0.8%) and 50 and above (0.2%).
- [6] Of those that voted for Inuyasha and Inuyasha: The Final Act the gender ratio was 9.2% men versus 90.8% women. The age grouping was: under 9 (19.6%), 10 to 19 (57.6%), 20 to 29 (15.1%), 30 to 39 (4%), 40 to 49 (3.2%) and 50 and above (0.6%).
