The Shishi Hokodan or "Lion's Roar Shot" is a technique that was written on a scroll given to Ryoga by a civil engineer when he was trapped in a cave. The manuver is powered by depression. This allows Ryoga to improve the technique over time. The perfected version of the Shishi Hokodan requires Ryoga to be deeply depressed. The difference in the two (besides power) is that the perfected version is a vertical blast while the normal is a horizontal one. |
