Platform: Handheld / Game & Watch

This is an old "Game and Watch" from Bandai that originally retailed for a approximately 5,000 yen. The concept of the game is that Ataru is trying to grab various women and must do it while Lum isn't watching. A simple LCD game with black black sprites on a painted background. The controls for these were often sluggish, but this was a predecessor to portable game systems such as the Gameboy, Playstation Portable and Neo-Geo Pocket.

Urusei Yatsura Lum's Wedding Bells
Urusei Yatsura Ramu no uideingu beru
うる星やつら ラムのウェディングベル

Release Date: October 23, 1986
Publisher: Jaleco
Director: ---
Platform: Famicom

"Lum's Wedding Bells" is a side-scroller where Lum flies through a burning building trying to reach her UFO on the roof with the game following her through various stages of her life. The instructions describe the storyline thus, "A major earthquake strikes on the outskirts of Tomobiki High! Now the school building's on fire-cha!! The earthquake has caused a tear in the space-time continuum, causing you to warp through the past and future-cha. As the school burns, you're now a kindergartener! As the floors deteriorates, you'll have to jump!! Rush to your UFO as it waits on the roof-cha. Warp through successive eras until you reach the one where Darling is waiting, and reach the future world where you can marry Darling!".

It is a typical early platformer of the era, not dissimilar to "Pitfall" in some ways. The history of the game is unique- "Momoko 120%" is an arcade version of "Lum's Wedding Bells", however it did not attain the license (despite using the "Lum no Love Song" theme in the background). The Urusei Yatsura branding was incorporated when the arcade game was brought to the Famicom, helping to bring the port closer to the original theme.

Published by Okumoto, this is a pachinko game, similiar to pinball games in the west, though with a much more vertically oriented set-up. The object of pachinko games is to capture as many steel balls as possible which can be redeemed for prizes. Because gambling for money is not technically legal in Japan, the balls are exchanged for things like shampoo or tokens inside the pachinko hall, and then these cheap prizes can be exchanged at a booth outside the hall for some monetary value.

The fourth game released by Okumura, some of the bonus levels of this game feature animation from the storylines "Even Though I Wait For You," "After You've Gone," and "Boy Meets Girl". A subsequent edition of this same game was released with the subtitle "Dengeki Suite Ver." The number "four" tends to be viewed as an unlucky omen, hence why the number was left off this game despite its placement in the CR series. This game also includes three all new songs, "Cosmic Love Story," "Forever Love," and "Onegai Darling". Classic Urusei Yatsura singer Steffanie was actually brought in to sing "Cosmic Love Story". Momoko Furukawa performed "Onegai Darling" and songs from the second and third game were featured as well.

パチスロうる星やつら

Release Date: May 2007
Publisher: Ginza Co. Ltd
Director: ---
Platform: Pachislot

Pachislot games have very little in common with traditional pachinko machines, instead they are essentially slot machines. Their popularity stems from the skill factor that is incorporated. Pulling the arm starts the reels spinning, but there is a button under each reel to control when it stops. There are video screens built into the cabinet as well that prompt the player with increased payouts and other teases that will get them to continue playing.
